He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Carnes and Rex Carnes. He is survived by: his wife Sally M. Carnes; his children, Aaron (Andrea), Matthew, Joshua (Susan) and Sarah; his sister Rexanne Tucker; his grandchildren, Ethan Carnes, Taylor Carnes, Nat Carnes and Evie Carnes; his aunt Linda Lindberg; his great grandchild Eleia Carnes; and his close friend Sherry Benner (Woody).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Good Samaritan Water Valley (805 Compassion Dr, Windsor, CO 80550).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Canine Partners for Life or Pathways Hospice.
