Mattheis (Wray, Colorado), born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ewald Mattheis and Thelma Mattheis (Sherwood); his daughter Stephanie; and his cousins, LeRoy Metzinger, Larry Mattheis and KC.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Mann; his aunts, Barbara Thimsen of Pierre and Beverly Rupkalvis of Grand Island; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Sladek (Ed) of Chambers, Kendra Mann of Kirk and Kellie Mann of Garden City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
