He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pitman and Fern Pitman; and his brother Dana Pitman. He is survived by: his wife Chris Pitman of Yoder, Colorado; his brother Ronnie Pitman (Suzanne); and his children, Amy Murray (Josh), Keri Bertsch (Jeremy), Jonathan Pitman (Melissa), Christy Diss (Jon) and Ryan Pitman (Amelia). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
