She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Heltenberg and Grace Heltenberg (Turnbull); her in-laws, Glen and Zenelda Mathies; and her sibling's children, Rodney Heltenberg and Dana Calhoun (Heltenberg).
She is survived by: her son Brian; her husband Steve Mathies; her children, Michael (Brian) of Haxtun, Colorado and Kimberley of Wray, Colorado.; her grandchildren, Becca, Krista, Sabrina Mathies, Austin, Colton and Keeley Brenden; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Seth and Elijah Rugel; her siblings, Raymond, Danny Heltenberg (Carolyn) of Clarksville, Sharon Brandner (Gary) of Yuma, Linda Dinsmore Hyde (Lyle), Ronda Strand (Robert) of Otis, Peggy Heltenburg of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Andrea Reitz (Bruce) of Yuma; her brother-in-law Robert; and her aunt Waunetta West (Powell) of Greeley, Colorado.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (110 W 4th Ave, Yuma, CO 80759).
