It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Haruf (Yuma, Colorado), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Parrish and Clara Parrish; her son-in-law Tim Frates; and her nephew Mark K. Haruf. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Raile (Butch), Lynn Haruf and Marc Haruf (Tami); her grandchildren, Aaron McBride (Liz), Shane McBride (Hannah), Mollie Coughlin (Jared), Trevor Haruf (Grace) and Jake Haruf (Ashley Ibanez); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Freddie, Teddy Frank, Brady, Cort, Jersie and Harlan. She is also survived by many nieces, sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
