He was predeceased by: his parents, John Remes Sr. and Helen Remes (Zalenska). He is survived by: his children, Joshua Remes of Vernon and Lauren Remes of Coventry; his brothers, Walter Remes (Betsy) of West Hartford and William Remes (Claudette) of Rocky Hill; and his nephews, Brian and Brendan Remes (Stacey Remes) of Coventry.
