Louise Palmer Walton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 83, Louise Palmer Walton of Andover, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Palmer and Lois Smith Palmer; and her siblings, Leon, Earl, Warren Palmer, Avis Palmer and Audrey Palmer.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Walton; her children, John Walton (Cathy) of Maine, Joseph Walton (Janie) of Florida, Lucy Walton Durocher (Leo) of Storrs, Louise "Twig" Walton O'Brien (Chris) of Andover and Leigh Walton Valliere (Mark) of Lebanon; her sister Alice Palmer Selbert of Ohio; and her sister-in-law Beverly Smith of Rockville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

We ask that donations in her memory be made to the Andover Volunteer Fire Department, 11 School Rd., Andover, CT 06232 or the Norton Children's Fund Commission, 1 School Rd., Andover.

“I guess, perhaps, if I lived nearby, I might have realized she was getting older. But to me, she always seemed ageless and wise. I remember how she laughed at me when I said, "This is a crisis, Louise!". To her nothing was a crisis - everything was manageable. She always calmed me down and guided me towards the solution. I still hear her voice which usually seemed like there was a laugh just around the corner. She was part of the foundation of my life. I will see her again. Sharon Czarnecki”
