He is survived by: his wife Betty Kennen Torday; his daughter Christine McCarthy (Michael) of Ansonia; his sisters, Laura Knutson (Curt) of Bethlehem and Lisa Franco (Michael) of Beacon Falls; and his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Cassidy McNeil of Ansonia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
