Fanning Genest of Ansonia; his father Marcel Genest (Maryann); his children, Andrea Genest of New Haven and Andre Joseph Genest, Jr. of New Haven; his siblings, Elizabeth Krieg of Norwalk, John Taburas, Peter Taburas (Rose), Lloyd Coffey and Daniel Coffey of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Kylie Genest, Carmine Wilson, Carlina Pereira and Tyrus Gamble; and his great grandchild Milani Shabazz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
