We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 69, Christal D. Simmons (Ansonia, Connecticut), born in Newport, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Newman and Anna Mae Cotter Newman. She is survived by : her husband Raymond M. Simmons Jr.; her daughter Trisha Massaro (Joseph) of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Jenna Simmons, Kendra Spencer-Massaro and Rian Massaro; her uncle Donald Shean; her brothers-in-law, Michael Simmons and Carl Simmons (Rita); her nieces, Stephanie Brennan and Amanda Boulay; and her pet Bandit.
