Donna Marie Klanko Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Marie Klanko of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Klanko and Theresa Esposito Klanko; her brother Kevin Michael Klanko; and her uncles, Joseph and Michael Klanko.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Klanko (Rita Velasquez); her close friend Ramon Hernandez of Ansonia; her aunt Margaret Mary Donovan of Derby; her uncle Peter Klanko (Maria) of Waterbury; her cousin Kristin Rollinson of Shelton; her friend Mary-Ellen Bostic of Beacon Falls; and her cherished cavapoo Ginger.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home (167 Wakelee Ave, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (105 Clifton Ave, Ansonia, CT 06401).
