She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel DiGiorgi and Marie DiGiorgi (Impellitteri); her husband William F. Bannon; and her great grandchild River Caroline Sames. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Ecay (Tom), Jim Bannon (Nancy) and Tom Bannon (Sharon); her grandchildren, Aaron, Sara (Will Sames), Hannah Ecay, Elly (Charlie Stephens), Sam Bannon, Madeline, Piper and Max Bannon; her great grandchildren, Liam, Luxton, Leo Sames, Oshie and Honey Stephens; and her siblings, Georgianna DeMelis of Ansonia, Frances DiGiorgi of Ansonia, Marie Dirienzo of Ansonia, Sal DiGiorgi of Ansonia and Rita St. Jacques of Ansonia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
