It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Elker (Ansonia, Connecticut), who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Theresa Caldaro Malazzi; and her brother Frank Malazzi. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Elker of Ansonia; her children, Rich Benevento (Anne) of Atlanta, Ray Bunton (Mary) of Milford and Lisa Pasnault (Edward) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Stacey, Kara, Grey, Emma, Jackson, Ray and RJ; her great grandchildren, Josiah, Lily and Amina; and her sisters, Maria Testa (Joseph), Lucia Spear (Michael) of Deep River, Wendy Malazzi and Wanda Malazzi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child or Samaritan's Purse.
