She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Sarkes; her parents, Alfred Boulay and Leda Taylor Boulay; her brothers, Ralph and Guy Boulay; her son-in-law Robert Krivda; and her friend Barbara Vicdomino.
She is survived by: her children, Diane S. Krivda of Ansonia, Ronald V. Schmecker (Elizabeth) of Naugatuck and David A. Christman of East Windsor; her sisters, Monica Lombardi of Seymour and Claire Gagne (Raymond) of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Suzanne King-Smith (Noah) of Derby, Stacie Alterisio (Ralph) of Middlebury, Ronald V. Schmecker Jr. (Jennifer) of Naugatuck and Peter T. Schmecker (Brittany) of Agawam, MA.; and her great grandchildren, Evangeline, Kade King-Smith, Ralphie, Stella Alterisio, Nathan and Abby Schmecker.
