He was predeceased by: his wife June M. Virzi (Persico); his parents, Giuseppe Virzi and Francesca Virzi (Giordano); his siblings, Frank, John Virzi and Anna Curtis; and his siblings-in-law, John Curtis and Lola Virzi.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura House (David) of Newark, DE, Mary Lou Victor of Shelton, Kathleen Farrelly (Thomas) of North Haven, Margaret Stickles (Jeffrey) of Coventry, CT and Donna Sennott (Jack) of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Nicholas House, Christa Clark (Dan), Alicia Molinari (Andrew), Thomas Victor (Grace), Andrea Victor, Robert Farrelly, Valerie Podolski (James), Olivia Dolan (Pat), Joseph Stickles (Meg), Julia Stickles, Cameron Stickles, Ava Stickles, Katherine, Rachel, Brian, Anna and Lizzie Sennott; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Daniel Victor, Noah, Lindsay Podolski, Benjamin, Jacob Molinari and Amelia Dolan; Ashley Curtis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia, CT 06401).
