He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis P. Tonucci Sr. and Gloria Collins; his siblings, Louis P. Tonucci Jr. and Judith Lauria (John); and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Salzano, Alfonzo Salzano and James Bartolotta.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Bartolotta); his daughters, Dawn Nihill (Scott) and Nadine Frey (Steve) of Ansonia; his grandchildren, Ryan Nihill (Alexandrea), Lindsie Sullivan (Michael), Christopher Nihill (Amanda) and Emily Frey; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Caroline and Colt Nihill; his siblings-in-law, Bernadette Tonucci, Louise Bartolotta and Richard Bartolotta (Mike); and his brother Clyde Gahman.
