With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Velleco of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Velleco Jr. and Eleanor Lundgren Velleco; and his sister Andrea Wilson. He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his wife Paula Lopez Velleco; his daughter Ashley Rose Velleco of Ansonia; his stepchildren, Gabriella Lopez of Shelton and Galo Lopez of Watertown, MA; his siblings, Lisa Glazer (Scott) of Ansonia, John T. Velleco III (Marianeen) of Ansonia and Raymond Velleco (Andrea) of Seymour; and his grandchildren, Nina and Xavi Lopez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends.
