He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Perrone Bernardini; his parents, Eugenio Bernardini and Maria Fiore Bernardini; and his siblings, Dominick, Donato Bernardini and Columbia Occhipinti.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Bernardini Jr. (Sharon) of North Branford; his grandchildren, Matthew Bernardini (Megan) of Prospect and Michelle Bernardini of Waterbury; and his great grandchild Ryan Bernardini of Prospect.
