Ruth Bernier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Bernier (Ansonia, Connecticut), born in Berlin, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bernier; her parents, Eli Frechette and Margory Page Frechette; her grandson Shane W. Poeta; and her siblings, Albert, Robert, Donald Frechette, Eleanor Belanger and Barbara Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Bernier (Annie) of Ansonia, Sharon Bernier of Tallahassee, FL and Gail Mattutini (Thomas Sr.) of Derby; her grandchildren, Ryan Poeta (Kimberly) of Shelton, Brian T. Bernier (Erica) of Bridgeport and Michelle Viebranz (Paul) of Ansonia; her great grandchildren, Leighton, Landon Poeta, Lorien and Elanor Viebranz; her stepgrandchildren, Thomas Mattutini (Chris), Wayne Mattutini (Tammy), Debbie Hennessy (John) and Missy Calvert (Eddie); Joan Lynders of Ansonia. She is also survived by eight step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
