Sharon May Venice Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon May Venice of Ansonia, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Carey and Lois Carey (Vanderoef); her son Gregory Venice; and her brother Millard Carey. She is survived by: her husband Girard "Jerry" Venice; her son Christopher Venice (Joyce); her grandchildren, Nicole Kalita (Robert) and Evan Venice (Kristine); her daughter-in-law Diane Venice; her children, David Venice (Taylor) and Jackie Laneuville (Josh); and her sisters, Judy Slowik (Bill) and Charlene Carey. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
