Steven Kuczynski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Kuczynski of Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Kuczynski (Kutz); his grandparents, John, Mary Zielinski, Joseph, Anna (Nana) and Steve; and his godparents, John and Diana Zielinski.
He is survived by: his mother Sophie Kuczynski of Prospect; his siblings, Deanna Zielinski, Stacy Becker (Donald) and Christopher Kuczynski; his stepfather William Mendyka; his stepbrother Thomas Dykas; his aunt Carol Hein; his sister-in-law Jan Kuczynski; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great niece (who he adored), and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia, CT 06401).
