With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Bordalo of Ashford, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on August 3, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Adelaide of Lisbon and Joao of Brazil. She is survived by: her children, Fernanda Maria Thorne (Robert) of Florida, Herminia Lucia Tuell (Timothy) of Wethersfield, CT, John Bordalo (Karen) of Azores, Alfeu Bordalo of Ashford, CT and Fred Bordalo (late Sherry) of Hooksett, NH.; her grandchildren, Christine Wood (Joe), David Tuell (Sherry), Mark Gilvary (Crystal), Vanessa Perkins (Shawne), Matthew Bordalo, Tara Estrada and Karrie Bemis (Marc); and her sisters, Natercia of Guarda and Isabel of Porto. She is also survived by Great Grand Children, nieces and nephews, and many extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (50 Kane St, Hartford, CT 06106).
