He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert W. Armitage. He is survived by: his mother Charlene Armitage (Saltonstall); and his sisters, Arminda Kamphausen (Roy) and Amy-Lyn Arel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westford Congregational Church (368 Westford Hill Rd, Ashford, CT 06278). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Timmy & I hit it off right away as we all spoke of our fire/ medical volunteer services, calls, & farming ( which we both shared in so many ways,) and how to repair engines, which Timmy was the expert at!! I had brought equipment for Timmy to work on for almost 20 years knowing that he WOULD fix whatever & visi”
