With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann D. Mains (Avon, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann D. Mains to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Desimoni and Teresa Desimoni (Tarca); her husband Jack Mains (Jack); and her siblings, John Desimoni, Mary Migli and Gemma Desimoni.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mains (Debby) of Avon, Peter Mains (Lori) of Avon, Marcia Mains of Avon, David Mains (Nicole) of Avon and Sally Pardee (Peter) of Falmouth, MA; her grandchildren, Greg Mains (Judy Roman), Ryan Mains (Meagan), Tyler Pardee (Brooke), Lauren Schuss (Jordan), Madison Lotufo (Ethan) and Stephanie Mains (Kevin Arbeiter); and her great grandchildren, Jenna, Natalie, Brooke Mains and Isla Pardee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Saint Ann (289 Arch Rd, Avon, CT 06001). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery (39 Arch Rd, Avon, CT 06001).
