We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Donald J. Sopelak of Avon, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Sopelak (Bouley). He is survived by: his wife Sophie Sopelak (Smolinski); his children, Stephen Sopelak (Megan) of Farmington and Carolyn Burns (Martin) of Eldersburg, MD; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyle Sopelak, Sean and Daniel Burns; and his brother Kenneth Sopelak (Janet) of Simsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor his memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Avon Dollars for Scholars, or the Church of Saint Ann.
