Gail Blakley Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Gail Blakley in Avon, Connecticut. Gail passed away on August 26, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail Blakley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albert Kie Sr. and Wellena Marie Kie; her husband Marvin Blakley Sr.; her son Joseph Blakley; her sister Rhea; and her son Donny.

She is survived by: her children, Marvin Blakley Jr. (Sandi), Caryl Muzynski, Robert Blakley (Lori) and Marie Valley (Donovan); her brother George Kie Jr. (Nancy); and her brother-in-law Marlin Blakley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home ~ Canton (120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT 06019). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Ann (289 Arch Rd, Avon, CT 06001). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Archbishop's Annual Appeal, to support the Archdiocese of Hartford in its continued mission of service.
