Gloria Adams Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Adams of Avon, Connecticut, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Patarroyo and Esther Patarroyo (Buitrago); and her siblings, Maria Terese Bohorquez, Aida Florez and Jorge Leon Patarroyo.

She is survived by: her husband Walter Adams of Avon; her children, Johnpaul Tonry (Kim) of Avon and Michelle Rodriguez (Fred) of Farmington; her siblings, Aura Luz Howard and Alvaro Patarroyo (Carmen); her grandchildren, Sarah Savona, Johnpaul Tonry II, Alessandra Tonry, Melissa Rodriguez (Jey), Alicia Rodriguez, Melanie Rodriguez, Morgan Coletti and Giana Coletti; and her great grandchildren, Melénie, Olivia, Kai and Alessia.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your favorite charity or to the Hispanic American Cultural Council (HACC).
