Joyce Nora Roy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Nora Roy (Avon, Connecticut), born in Van Buren, Maine, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Romeo Corbin and Estelle Corbin (Bosse); and her sister Brenda Corbin. She is survived by: her husband Martin Roy of West Hartford; her children, Joshua Roy (Jean Stehle) of West Newton, MA and Jen Roy (Russell Hansen) of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Owen, Catherine Roy, Liam and Calvin Roy-Hansen; and her siblings, Jean Hart (Martin) of Wethersfield, Ann Hunt (David) of Rutland, VT, Lisa Patti (Frank) of Enfield and John Corbin (Maureen) of Long Branch, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
