It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ellison Larose of Avon, Connecticut, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellison and Marion Ellison; and her husband Prosper Larose. She is survived by: her children, Mark Larose (Jackie) of Canton, CT, Scott Larose (Carey) of Farmington, CT and Laura Powers (Michael) of Burlington, CT.; her great grandchildren, Kim Ainsley (John), Justin Larose, Jennifer Larose, Courtney Bedard, Robert Powers (Mikaylyn Peet), Amy Riollano (Brandon), Jason Larose (Erica Bushey) and Alex Bedard; Wyatt and Brooke. She is also survived by many in laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Canton (184 Cherry Brook Rd, Canton, CT 06020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
