She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Barbara; and her siblings, Joe Melrose and Pam Koberg (Robert). She is survived by: her siblings, Sally Melrose, John Melrose (Carolyn), Barbara Blanchette (James) and Elizabeth Melrose; her children, Joseph Gillis (Moriah) and Jane Palmer (Kimberly); and her grandchildren, Celia, Callie, Natalie, Finn and Travis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (940 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at the Simsbury Cemetery (16 Plank Hill Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070).
