It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard H. Griffin Sr. of Avon, Connecticut, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his cousin Ray Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Elinor (Firnhaber); and his children, Pamela Redman (Jeff) of West Hartford and Richard Griffin Jr. (Sue) of Avon. He is also survived by his extended family, including an aunt, numerous cousins, brother and sister in laws, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation in support of his grandson Matt.
