It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Mary Nye of Barkhamsted, Connecticut, born in Whately, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Lawrence and Hattie Zononi (Brehm); and her siblings, Charles, Ralph, Victor, Lawrence Zononi and Leona Pakutinski.

She is survived by : her daughter Caryl Pizinger of Barkhamsted; her sister Carolyn Christensen; her grandchildren, Brianna Bender (David) of Torrington and Tamsin Lauzier (Tyler) of Granby; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Alexander Bender, Finn and Emmett Lauzier; her extended family Frank N. Sollitto, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Claire Zononi of Easthampton, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
