It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard E. Simmons of Barkhamsted, Connecticut, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Simmons and Joan Simmons (Waller); and his brothers, Arthur Simmons (Colleen) of Milesburg, PA and John Simmons of Warner Robins, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Simmons (Salmon); his daughters, Jessica Crawford (Mitch Crawford) of Winchester and Vanessa Lindell (Jason Lindell) of Canton; his grandchildren, Jared, Autumn and Veronica Lindell; and his pets, Misty, Brownie and Peach.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Howard to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
