She was predeceased by : her husband Donald W. Stavnitzky; and her siblings, Noella Riva Spurdle, Jeannette Peck, Laurette Whitman, Gertrude Schlapfer and Albert Marquis.

She is survived by : her children, Paul M. Stavnitzky of Barkhamsted and Nancy M. Boudreau (Mark) of Chepachet, RI; her grandson Jared (Susan Boudreau); her stepson Alex; and her siblings, Roland Marquis, Robert Marquis, Claire Nelson (Russell) and Yvonne LeMere (Robert). She is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews.
