He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Edward Kish and Margaret Isabel Kish (Getty); his siblings, Susan Swift, Agnes "Bunny" Grucza, John and Margaret Kish; and his wife Mary Ann Kish.
He is survived by: his brother Raymond; his children, Alvah Kish, Jr. of Watertown, Jason Kish (Nancy) of Guilford, Tammy Posila (Dennis) of Naugatuck, Kelly Cataudella (David) of Wallingford and Heather Shenker (Eran) of Manchester; and his grandchildren, Emily Kish (Evan), Amy Kish, Annalise, Abigail Kish, Kyle Laporte, Jordyn, Macy Cataudella, Zachary, Alyssa Posila, Rae, Jonas and Ezra Shenker.
Given Alvah was a lover of animals, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to make a donation in his name to the ASPCA.
