He was predeceased by : his parents, George R. Sr. Lafferty and Anna Lafferty (Sanford); and his sister Elizabeth Lafferty. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Lafferty (Bagley); his daughters, Kimberly Pyka (Christopher) of Oxford and Karen Battaglino of Beacon Falls; his grandchildren, Justin of Beacon Falls, Hannah Battaglino of Beacon Falls and Travis Pyka of West Haven; his great grandchild Lilyanna McGraw of Beacon Falls; and his sister Helen Gelmini.
