He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Smith, Sr. and Margaret Nancy Smith (Rau). He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Amy Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; his siblings, Martin Smith (Nancy), Kathryn Taylor (Duane) and Christine Feeney (Tom); his grandchildren, Dylan, Michael, Kyle, Eva, Lucie, Jules and Louis; his niece Leah Feeney; and his great-nephew Cody Muth.
