He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Zapatka of Beacon Falls; his daughters, Susan of Beacon Falls and Melissa "Missy" Zapatka of Beacon Falls; his sister Sandra Robinson; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Barry of Derby and RoseMarie Gruttadauria; his granddaughter Zoey; his niece Heather Grillo (Anthony Grillo); his nephews, Michael Gruttadauria (Tracy Gruttadauria), Bryan Gruttadauria, Matthew Gruttadauria (Lisa Gruttadauria) and Matthew Knapik; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jared Grillo, Sydney Grillo, Jack Gruttadauria, Thomas, Joseph, Anna Gruttadauria, Zack, Emily Shell, Josh, Austin and Aurora Knapik.
