As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Manuel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Teixeira and Maria Teixeira; and his siblings, Maria and Augustino Teixeira. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his sons, German Teixeira (Patricia) and Roberto Teixeira (Carla); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Brandien (Eric) of Prospect, Justin Teixeira of Beacon Falls, Matthew and Alexander Teixeira of Naugatuck. He is also survived by several sister & brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Macari Funeral Home (260 Bank St, Seymour, CT 06483). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (2071 Baldwin St, Waterbury, CT 06706). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM.
