She is survived by: her husband John E. Zapatka of Beacon Falls; her daughters, Susan of Beacon Falls and Melissa "Missy" Zapatka of Beacon Falls; her sisters, Barbara Barry of Derby and RoseMarie Gruttadauria; her sister-in-law Sandra Robinson of Naugatuck; her granddaughter Zoey; her siblings' children, Heather Grillo (Anthony Grillo), Michael Gruttadauria (Tracy Gruttadauria), Bryan Gruttadauria, Matthew Gruttadauria (Lisa Gruttadauria) and Matthew Knapik; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jared Grillo, Sydney Grillo, Jack Gruttadauria, Thomas, Joseph, Anna Gruttadauria, Zack, Emily Shell, Josh, Austin and Aurora Knapik; and her caregivers, Stacey and Heather.
