In loving memory of Douglas I. Relyea Sr. of Bethany, Connecticut, who departed this world on March 3, 2026 at the age of 95. Douglas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Halstead Relyea and Teressa Morelle Fish; and his wife Mary Lou Relyea (Peters). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Irving Relyea, Jr., Allan Bruce Relyea (Laurie Ann Hewson), Susan Elizabeth Relyea (Orest Adrianowycz) and Mary Ellen Relyea; and his grandchildren, Robert Eric Relyea, Alexander William Relyea, Sarah and Matthew Allan Adrianowycz.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Relyea endowments at Clarkson, Drexel, SCSU, or the Yale Peabody Museum.
