He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilmar Rakfeldt and Miralda Rakfeldt (Laanepere); his son Aavo Rakfeldt; and his sisters, Helle Leetman-Klepp and Tiia Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Kristi Rakfeldt (Ranna); his children, Kaili Rehm (Justin) of Woodbridge, Kiia Mai Silverstrim (Damian) of Woodbridge and Jaak Kristjan Rakfeldt of Bethany; and his grandchildren, Ayla, Tegan, Taya, Ty and Brie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and beloved friends.
