We are sad to announce that, on October 10, 2019 we had to say goodbye to John Fleckenstein (Bethel, Connecticut), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Fleckenstein (Chermak) and Henry Fleckenstein. He is survived by: his sibling Jean Antoine; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Fleckenstein; his children, Mark Fleckenstein Sr., John Fleckenstein Jr. and Karen Sallstrom; and his grandchildren, Bridget Arnold, Candice VanValkenburg, Korin Fleckenstein, Mark Fleckenstein Jr. and Ava Fleckenstein. He is also survived by four great grandchildren (soon to be 5) and many nieces and nephews.

Along with a edy's rocky road in the freezer and a fridge full of barq's & a 3 muskateers or two. He could be found at any given time rooting for and/or coaching the uconn women's team to championship after championship. Rest easy jack.
