Judie Arroyo Goldstein Obituary
Judie Arroyo Goldstein, 60, died on February 1, 2025, at her home in Bethel with her daughter Carlie by her side. Born in Norwalk, she was predeceased by her father Luis Arroyo, and is survived by her mother Jean McDonough, and her daughter Carlie Rose Goldstein.
A graduate of Brien McMahon High School - Class of 1982, she earned her bachelor's degree at UCONN Class of 1986 and worked as a Pre-K teacher for the Side By Side Charter School. She was a devoted mother, daughter, friend and teacher who put her heart and soul into everything she did.
Early on in life, Judie enjoyed skiing, dancing, traveling and adventure. Some of her favorite memories were with her father and family in Costa Rica. She was an amazing cook and loved gardening. Judie went above and beyond in the classroom during her teaching career, encouraging her students to lead with kindness and respect for others every day. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Even while battling ALS, her incredible strength and beautiful spirit never faded.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday February 12th from 4 to 7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk, CT. Other services will be held privately.
