He was predeceased by : his parents, Northrope Jones and Catharine Jones (Oxholm); his former life partner Jill Sherndal Jones; and his children, Winifred Jones of Barton, VT, Jill Agnew of Sabattus, ME, Theodor Jones of Essex Junction, VT and Thomas Jones of Dixfield, ME.

He is survived by : his sister Catherine Jones Rice; his wife June Jones of Bethel, CT; and his sister Susan Jones Hewton of Kennett Square, PA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many very fond nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bethel Funeral Home (215 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT 06801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (169 Black Rock Tpke, Redding, CT 06896). A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
