He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Griffin and Margaret Griffin; his siblings, Edward, David, John Griffin and Katherine Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Schmid and Laurelle Griffin.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Katie Griffin (Ardian Rama); his sister Debbi Schmid; his former wife Tina Griffin; his sisters-in-law, Robin Griffin and Kim Griffin; and his nieces and nephews, Diane Griselda, Eddie Griffin, Meghan Griffin, Alicia Griffin, Shaun Griffin, Ryan Griffin, David Griffin, Douglas Schmid and Morgan Schmid.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (26 Dodgingtown Rd, Bethel, CT 06801).
