He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Cavanaugh and Josephine Cavanaugh; his fiancée LeeAnn Kocka; and his brothers, Patrick and James Cavanaugh.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jeanne Alecci, Thomas Cavanaugh, Joseph Cavanaugh (Ellen), Steven Cavanaugh, John Cavanaugh and Anne Marie Wambold (Daniel); his sister-in-law Kathleen Cavanaugh; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Ciszewski, John Alecci, Daniel, Patrick Wise, Courtney Haynes, Keeley Cavanaugh, Ashley and Jane Wambold.
