With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita Marlene Luth of Bethlehem, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rita left this world on December 2, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew McDermott and Hazel Beckwith McDermott; and her brothers, Robert McDermott and Andrew McDermott. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Luth; her daughters, Jody (Jamie Zambero), Dana (Alan Dayton) and Tracy (Charlie Fenn); her sister Velma Fox; her siblings-in-law, Donald Luth and Mary Luth; and her grandchildren, Mark Zambero (Jamie), Lisa Zambero Daly (Matt), Ryan Dayton (Lisa), Erin Dayton Bono (Mike), Scott Dayton Stephen (Liz), Brianna Fenn, Connor Fenn (Tatiana), Joseph Fenn (Hope), Timothy Fenn (Lisa) and Carly Kasidas (Ray). She is also survived by Sixteen greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hickcox Funeral Home (195 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Evangelist Church (574 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Watertown Fire Department, 935 Main Street Watertown.
