With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances (Kennedy) Mosby (Bloomfield, Connecticut), who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Fannie Kennedy; her husband Douglas F. Mosby, Sr.; her daughter Darlene M. Mosby; and her grandsons, Douglas III and Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie, Sandra, Douglas and Kristal Mosby; her mother-in-law Lorraine Mosby; her siblings, Robert Thomas, James Kennedy and Helen Kilgore; her siblings-in-law, Alfred Carter, Michael Mosby, Annie Barkley, Lauren Carter and Patricia Mosby; and her friends, Alvan N. Johnson, Jr., Rev. David Hendricks, Irma Clemons, Gloria Samuels, Claire Smith and Barbara Jenkins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (1154 Blue Hills Ave, Bloomfield, CT 06002). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
