Hemphill, Etheridge of Kansas, Maggie Neal, Rosa Davis, Elizabeth Cason, Wates, John, Crawford, Samuel, Emanuel and James Kelly; her grandson Dyshawn Copeland; and her daughter-in-law Dolcie Copeland (Ann).

She is survived by : her children, Floyd Copeland, Jr., Carol Johnson (Curtis) and Elnora Brazeau (Donald); her granddaughter Janet; her close friends, Patrick Wilson, Quiana, Michael, Jr., Samuel, Austin Copeland, Asha Dornners and Christopher Anderson; her great grandchildren, Kahmila Motley, Nazjaun (Noopy) and Najiyah Copeland (YahYah); her sister Katie Patterson (Granville); her godchildren, Thomasina Shivers and Larone McMillian; and her extended family, Lincoln, Alton, Trevor and Ann Anderson.

“To my dearest friend, Nowa and the Copeland family. My deepest condolences. I'm so thankful to be back in Connecticut, where I was able to visit and sit and talk to Ms. Copeland. She would say "Nowa call Robin so I can talk to her, we will talk and laugh. I already miss Nowa call me saying "Guess who want to talk to you". I would say put her on. She will truly be missed, and I will miss her cooking. She is Loved and already miss our phone calls.”
